Hi all, I have solid edge V19 installed. Recently the ribbon status bar vanished. I have tried to re-install it but have had no luck. Any suggestions welcome!

check in Soldi Edge "Options" - "Helps". Is the ribbon status bar checked?

Under tools options, status bar is ticked...still no ribbon bar in sight!

As a test, rename HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge (Old) and start Solid Edge. If it fixes the problem, then there is something goofy in your settings.

I could not find that exact key as a newbie so i deleted these from the toolbar...Assistants to colour buttons... HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 19\ToolbarSettings Thanks... voila!! After 4 months of this frustration the ANSWER. thanks again Dean

Ok I now also have SE 19 with vista and my edge bar has gone awol....I need some help here as to which key to delete... thanks Dean.

Ok just deleted keys in pref sets edge bar and it restored the edge bar finally... Dean.
