Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem. Right now i'm converting an old ''viewer'' made in vb6 to vb.net and this error occur. Works fine on Xp but on windows 7 it crashes.

Maybe i should use a different framework ? right now i'm using 4.0 client ?

It crashes my IDE when I'm in the Windows Form designer. I think someone needs to report this to GTAC and get them to fix it or tell us what we're doing wrong.

Hey,

I've finally found a way to make it works. Just download the last Solid Edge Viewer ST3 and use those library instead of them coming from the solid edge itself and it works fine.
